The Marriage Pitstop, a workshop to strengthen relationships

Description

This Valentine's Month, we bring you The Marriage Pitstop! Give each other the gift of a better relationship as you rediscover your love language together. The afternoon is specially designed for you and your partner to have the tools you need to navigate through marriage with discussions and hands-on activities using The 5 Love Languages by Dr. Gary Chapman.

We always have the best intentions for our marriage but sometimes don’t understand why our efforts aren’t producing the results we hope for.

If you’ve ever felt this way, here’s a secret:

Very rarely do couples have the same primary emotional love language!

With the guidance of our trained facilitators in an intimate and interactive environment, you will firstly discover what your love languages are, then learn how to connect with each other to make sure your love tanks are filled up!

Even if you’ve already heard about the 5 Love Languages, this session will give you a different discovery experience in the warm company of others who also want the best for their relationship.

Trainers
1. Grace Tan

Over 10 years of meeting many couples and families through her wedding and family photography business, Grace realised there was a need to provide greater support for couples and families to thrive in their relationships. From this, Comma – Rethink Life was born.

As wife to Alex and mother to Krysta and Kyle, Grace knows there is no perfect way to be a spouse or parent and looks forward to enriching relationships between couples and connecting them with other like-minded people so that they can start building their own community of support.

Grace has organised and spoken at various workshops and training sessions with her church and in the photography industry. She is a pre-marriage counsellor and is currently pursuing an international coaching certification.

2. Alex Lam

Since the year 2000, Alex has been running a successful IT business that has grown internationally. Now, as a loving husband and doting father, his priorities have enlarged to include the well-being of his family. He is a firm believer that because we only have one life, everyone should invest it in a legacy that carries on into the next generation.

Being a natural people person, Alex is also able to bring workshops alive through fun activities that will definitely keep the audience engaged while they are exposed to top-notch content.

Alex and his wife Grace have been married for 14 years and together they are both pre-marriage counsellors who equip couples before they embark on the journey of marriage.

3. Segar Moses

Segar runs a leadership and performance consulting firm and has extensive experience developing people across a wide range of industries including healthcare, oil & gas, F&B, construction and satellite communications.

As a leadership coach, he is passionate about bringing out the best in people and helping them maintain a healthy balance between priorities with their families and in the workplace.

Segar also runs workshops to help youth discover their potential and enjoys spending time with his two kids Leah and Esmae, and his wife Shan, whom he fondly describes as “a strong pillar of support in this journey called life”. Segar and Shan have been married for 10 years, and together as a couple for 20 years.
